- ➤ Arizona State University will expand its downtown presence by converting the old post office at 135 N. Center St into a creative technology center under a 2024 intergovernmental agreement with the city plus it will explore four additional Mesa City Center sites for future projects. Mesa Independent

- ➤ The Arizona Diamondbacks announced Friday that pitcher Merrill Kelly will return on a two-year deal beginning in 2026, making him the third to clock eight seasons with the team + his return follows a strong 2023 playoff run. Kelly, a long-time Valley resident, grew up in Scottsdale and attended ASU. 12 News
