Sen. David Farnsworth from Mesa plans to propose a law in the 2026 legislative session that would require public schools teaching evolution to also present creationism (referred to as intelligent design) as an alternative.
Opponents argue the change may blur the separation between church and state.
A new ASU report finds that kids in Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley are 10% more likely to graduate high school with a 95% graduation rate, and each dollar invested returns $14.79 to the state.
