- ➤ Arizona Cardinals lineman Kelvin Beachum will host a Thanksgiving food distribution today from 2:30–4:30 p.m. at the Eisenhower Center for Innovation at 848 N. Mesa Dr.—working with teammate Paris Johnson Jr.—as part of his second annual competition to raise funds for food banks in Arizona while former MLB All-Star Curtis Granderson raises funds in Chicago. - ➤ Fujifilm Electronic Materials’ planned 79,745-square-foot expansion at its Mesa facility will be reviewed today at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall on E. Main St—officials will consider the design for expanding the site with an additional 20 acres from the current property and 11 acres from a new acquisition—to ensure the project meets local industrial standards. - ➤ Local artist Heidi Dauphin finished her Penny Date Quilt using 60 squares of pennies that mark important dates from her life. She made the quilt as a tribute to the end of penny minting — the last penny was made in 2025 — and she plans to use her collected coins in future art projects. KJZZ
- ➤ Local residents may enter a contest to win two tickets to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix — the show will take place on November 30. 12 News

- ➤ Traffic at St. Mary's Food Bank has begun to drop after SNAP payments resumed following the government shutdown—yet the food bank still sees about 50,000 visits a week as high grocery costs keep many people in need of help.
