- ➤ Mesa is hosting three preview events ahead of the Gateway Library grand opening—located at 5036 S. Eastmark Parkway—to offer hands-on science on November 15 with the MEAD Machine, a mini fire truck exhibit featuring Ember on November 22, and educational outdoor activities plus a Santa visit on November 29. Library staff will sign up new cardholders on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting November 17 while the grand opening is scheduled for December 6 with a ribbon cutting and family-friendly activities.
