- ➤ Lorenzo Antonio Batrez Vargas—a 32-year-old Mexican national from Flagstaff—died on Aug 31 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa while in ICE detention at the Central Arizona Correctional Complex after his arrest for aggravated assault and other charges, and his cause of death remains under investigation.
