  • Mesa City Council approved a three-year contract with Visit Mesa that adds strict oversight measures—such as public meetings, complete financial records, and a 60-day termination clause—to fix past concerns about spending and management. The agency is set to receive $3.4 million in transient lodging tax revenue by June 30.  The Mesa Tribune
