Good morning, Mesa. Here's your local news at a glance for Sunday, the 22nd of June.

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Mesa city planners will review text amendments on Wednesday, June 25th to limit where data centers can be built so more land can be saved for industries that create higher-quality jobs. Over the past six years, 15 data centers have been built, approved or proposed along the Elliot Road Technology Corridor in southeast Mesa (involving companies like Apple and Google) and the new proposal offers a three-year waiver period for current property owners (if they already have rights to develop data centers, those uses remain unchanged).  The Mesa Tribune
