- ➤ Arizona school districts and charter schools face a potential $200 million shortfall if lawmakers do not pass a new state budget by June 13. The Arizona Department of Education warned schools they will receive about 60% of their regular monthly payment unless additional funds are approved—legislators are set to negotiate further after June 13.
