- ➤ Mesa Planning and Zoning Board will vote on whether to recommend that City Council amend the marijuana codes to increase the permitted maximum floor area for facilities. - ➤ Mesa incoming City Manager Scott Butler has appointed Lance Webb as city engineer to replace Beth Huning, who retired on May 22 after an 18-year career. Webb, a Mesa native who joined the engineering department in 2012 and has led over 500 capital improvement projects totaling more than $1.4 billion — he looks forward to advancing projects with city partners.
