  • Mesa Public Library helps aspiring writers improve their craft through its writer-in-residence program now until July 18. Author Oscar Mancinas will host one-on-one consultations & workshops at the Main Library, 64 E. First St.  Mesa Independent

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Mesa Public Schools received $4.1 million in a state grant for counselors, social workers and school resource officers at 34 campuses. The funding, provided through the School Safety Program, will support staffing needs over the next three-year cycle starting July 1.  The Mesa Tribune
