- ➤ A 48-year-old Valley woman was sentenced to eight years in prison after she used another woman's identity to rack up about $300,000 in medical services from 2022 to 2024—this fraud was uncovered when the victim received a $26,500 bill from Banner Health for treatment she never received. 12 News
- ➤ Police responded to a shooting at a Mesa apartment complex near U.S. 60 and Val Vista Drive at about 10 p.m. on May 21 — one person died and another was injured — and they detained multiple suspects from several locations. The Arizona Republic
