- ➤ Two Mesa cemeteries—Mariposa Gardens at 6747 E. Broadway Road with a 10 a.m. ceremony and Mountain View Cemetery at 7900 E. Main St. with a 9 a.m. ceremony—will hold Memorial Day services on Monday, May 26 to honor veterans, and a Wreaths Across America table will offer volunteer and wreath sponsorship options with each $17 sponsorship returning $5 to support local veteran programs. - ➤ Mesa police reported that an employee—an unidentified man—fell into equipment and became trapped at an industrial facility near Meridian and Pecos roads in Mesa overnight on Tuesday and died at the scene. ABC15 Arizona
