- ➤ Queen Creek Unified School District’s newest elementary school, Mountain Trail Academy, is nearing completion at 5626 S. Mountain Road in Mesa—interior work and painting are finished and furniture deliveries will soon begin. The school will open this summer for the 2025–2026 school year and will host tours starting May 20, a Kindergarten Round Up on June 12, a playdate on June 17, and a virtual parent session on June 25.
