Arizona Restaurant Week will run from May 15 to May 24, when over 200 restaurants offer three-course prix-fixe meals (priced at $33, $44, or $55) statewide.
Menus are posted online May 1.
Mesa residents now register for summer camps and recreation programs, covering sports, youth camps, teen tournaments plus adaptive activities.
They can sign up online or at 708 W. Baseline Road; non-residents begin registration Monday, Apr. 13 and summer pool passes start May 23.

Families can enjoy craft activities at Family Day at the Museum on Saturday, Apr.
11, from 10 a.m. to noon at Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum (1 E. Main St.) at Mesa Arts Center. The event will feature a crochet workshop, jewelry-making with buttons and beads and gallery storytime.

Arizona gas prices continue rising compared to last year; Phoenix reached an average of $4.95 per gallon on April 6 while diesel hit $6.18 (below summer 2022 highs).
Experts forecast further hikes and drivers may notice price variations with Tucson at $4.58 and Las Vegas near $5.
🌲 Environment
The National Interagency Fire Center released a forecast predicting above average fire danger in April with red conditions in May and June and regular risk in July due to monsoon storms.
Firefighters are renewing training to prepare for a busy season.
