  • Celebrate Mesa is set for Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pioneer Park, 526 E. Main St. and will feature a Spring Fling event with free readings, literacy programs, outdoor recreation units & a Living Green Village offering environmental tips and local resources.  Mesa Now
  • On March 25, the Arizona Humane Society warned Mesa residents that scammers are contacting pet owners online claiming to have found a lost pet and demanding payment; genuine messages include an official animal ID number (a key identifier) and locals should call police if contacted.  KJZZ
  • A Mesa grandmother said that after spending $500 on materials to build a mini wrestling ring for her grandchildren, the contractor ghosted her after Christmas and stopped replying to messages; she is now seeking a new contractor to complete the project.  ABC15 Arizona

  • Local duo Snailmate is energizing the Tiny Desert Concert Series at the UFO Experience (Arizona Boardwalk in Scottsdale) today. The synthpop rap band features Kalen Lander on synth and Bentley Monet on drums, blending creative soundscapes with a lively performance.  KJZZ
