  • Mesa nonprofit Paz de Cristo is helping local residents sign up for SNAP benefits at its office on 424 W. Broadway Road. Volunteers assist about 120 people monthly, addressing food insecurity for those who lack reliable internet access.  ABC15 Arizona

  • idea Museum in Mesa has opened three new exhibitions at 150 W. Pepper Place featuring the traveling Rube Goldberg: The World of Hilarious Invention exhibit, Artfully Absurd, and a new gallery by Alanna Airitam. The exhibits run through Sept. 2026.  Mesa Independent

  • Arizona Republic reporter Jose R. Gonzalez explained why gas prices are rising in the Phoenix area; his report highlights factors that may soon drive up costs for Mesa drivers at the pump.  The Arizona Republic
  • Gas prices in Mesa have risen as national fuel costs increased nearly 80 cents per gallon for gasoline and $1.34 for diesel from last month, AAA said. Supply disruptions from the ongoing Iran conflict and reduced shipments through the Strait of Hormuz are driving higher costs.  KJZZ
