  • Nuvision Credit Union celebrated its new Mesa Longbow branch on Feb. 19 with a ribbon cutting that welcomed over 50 local officials and honored Paz De Cristo Community Center and VFW Post No. 1760 via a check presentation. EDUCATION NEWS

  • Mesa high school students can earn college credits early through Maricopa Community Colleges’ ACE, HOL, and Summer Bridge programs, which offer free Saturday classes + scholarships and tutoring. Summer Bridge runs from June 1 to July 25 with applications closing on Apr. 3.  East Valley Tribune

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • A four-story hotel with 103 rooms and a five-story residential building for seasonal baseball players is proposed adjacent to Sloan Park in Mesa. The design will go to the Planning and Zoning Board on March 10 and later to City Council, with groundbreaking expected in June.  East Valley Tribune
