- ➤ The Mesa Historical Museum will open the Arizona Baseball Museum on Saturday, Feb. 21. The museum, dedicated to Arizona’s baseball history, will be at the historic Lehi Auditorium at 2345 N. Horne and will operate from 10 a.m. & 4 p.m. Mesa Independent
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Under a new state contract, the Salt River wild horse management group will reduce the herd from 274 to 120 over five years by relocating about 25 horses annually until 2030+relocations start in September so summer visitors may see fewer horses. 12 News
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ A proposed project near Sloan Park in Mesa will build a four-story, 103-room hotel and a five-story building with 36 residential units for seasonal baseball players.
