ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Arizona Gov. Hobbs and water experts say that Colorado River negotiations must result in mutual cuts to secure water supplies for local users. If Upper Basin states do not agree by the Feb. 14 deadline, a court battle is likely to force a cut in usage (impacting Mesa water supplies).  KJZZ

HEALTH NEWS

  • A statewide campaign by The 100 Club of Arizona launched Wednesday to add StormStick decontamination devices to fire trucks for quick removal of toxic chemicals. Valley Toyota Dealers donated $50,000 & organizers need an extra $630,000 to outfit all systems and help protect firefighters.  12 News
