- ➤ Cambria Hotels began construction in Mesa on a four-story, 107-room hotel that will offer a rooftop restaurant, lobby bar, outdoor pool, fitness center, and meeting rooms. The hotel at 3501 S. Ellsworth Road is set to open early in 2027. Mesa Independent
- ➤ Construction has begun at DSV’s $14.5 million, 950,000 sqft regional headquarters near Pecos and Ellsworth (with up to 160 employees expected), and it will complete in early 2027. Mesa Independent

- ➤ Mesa residents logged over 15 million minutes reading in 2025 during Mesa Reads, Mesa Public Library’s year-long initiative that challenged everyone to read at least 15 minutes daily. - ➤ Arizona has confirmed 228 measles cases since August, mostly in Mohave County. In the past three weeks, Coconino, Pima, Maricopa & Pinal counties have reported cases, and health officials urge those who visited Hale Theatre early this month to get vaccinated and watch for symptoms. KJZZ
