- ➤ Grand Canyon University announced Wednesday that its tuition freeze will continue on its Phoenix campus through 2026-27, keeping the rate at $16,500 before aid while more than 92% of students qualify for scholarships. 12 News
- ➤ Local K-12 students are invited by the Mesa Historic Preservation Board to join the Historical Essay and Visual Arts Contest themed 'Mesa Through Time: Honoring Our Past, Inspiring Our Future' (registration is open until March 24), with winners celebrated on May 2 at The Post. Mesa Now

- ➤ Houston-based Avelo Airlines announced it will end operations from Mesa Gateway Airport on Jan. 27 due to high operational costs for its Department of Homeland Security charter flights — the airline used three Boeing 737-800s for the service. KJZZ
